March 2010 The Local Water System Assistance Program, as adopted by the Advisory Board on March 18, 2010, would provide $200 million in interest-free loans over the next ten years and expands eligible projects. The MWRA Board of Directors will vote on the Program in June.
December 2009 Advisory Board staff made a presentation to the MWRA Board of Directors, highlighting one pathway towards achieving a $0 rate revenue.
November 2009 Advisory Board staff made a presentation on achieving a level-funded rate revenue requirement for the MWRA’s FY11 Current Expense Budget.

August 2009 The MWRA Advisory Board released a White Paper to address the concerns regarding the threat of Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS), with a particular focus on the invasive zebra mussel on the Quabbin Reservoir. January 2009 In a recent letter to MWRA Board Chairman Ian Bowles and Fred Laskey, Executive Director of the MWRA, Katherine Dunphy, Chairwoman of the MWRA Advisory Board, called for a meeting to address the pressing concerns of the fiscal climate and the development of the FY10 budget.
November 2008 MWRA staff made a presentation of on-going and new renewable and sustainable energy initiatives at MWRA. MWRA has made a major commitment to reducing energy consumption at its facilities in an effort to reduce both operating costs and the environmental impacts of its daily operations.
