July 18, 2024 Operations Committee Meeting and Field Trip

OnĀ Thursday, July 18, 2024, 8:15a.m., the Operations Committee will be meeting at the core storage facility at 116 Gould St in Needham, MA. This facility houses rock core samples from the Metropolitan Tunnel Redundancy Program. Design and construction of the Program relies on the detailed examination and recording of these samples as part of the subsurface investigation on ground conditions.

Following the regular business conduct of the Operations Committee, an update will be given on the Program, along with a tour of the core storage facility and a talk by Brad Miller (Senior Program Manager, Geology, MWRA) about some of the rock core findings to date. Including the initial Operations Committee meeting, the entire event will last approximately 3-4 hours.

As space is limited to approximately 25 people, please use the form below to RSVP by July 11, 2024. There is parking in front of the building, in the back near the pickle ball court, and around the building.
