On Friday, September 21, 2018, MWRA is hosting a tour of facilities around Spot Pond for local officials in the Northern Intermediate High, Northern High, and Northern Low water service areas.

These facilities include the Gillis Pumping Station at Spot Pond, the new Spot Pond Covered Storage Tanks, and the High Fells Covered Storage Tanks. MWRA will describe how these facilities work together to supply drinking water to your communities.

The tour will run from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. We will meet at MWRA’s Gillis Pumping Station located at 2 Woodland Road in Stoneham. Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who may be interested.

Parking is available, and light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by September 18 to Katie Ronan at 617-788-1171 or at Katherine.ronan@mwra.com. Hope to see you there!
