Public comment period open on Variance for CSO discharges to the Alewife Brook/Upper Mystic River & the Lower Charles River/Charles River Basin
MassDEP has posted for public comment Tentative Determinations to Adopt Variances for CSO discharges to the Alewife Brook/Upper Mystic River and the Lower Charles River/Charles River Basin. The 45-day public notice period ends on April 22nd.
MassDEP will accept comments during this period and will host two virtual public hearings on March 28th. The first virtual public hearing will take place at 1:00pm (zoom registration) and the second will take place at 6:00pm (zoom registration).
